Mountain Biking

Wessex Outdoor Training offer Mountain Bike courses for all levels of ability and experience. Many of our courses can be run on a bespoke basis to suit your own individual requirements.

Our MIAS accredited Mountain Bike courses are run on a bespoke basis to suit your requirements.

Our unique location in Wiltshire on the edge of Salisbury Plain  provides some ideal ground to challenge your abilities.  We tend to use remote and challenging technical ground ideal for bike/navigation training or your latest personal challenge.

For some of our higher level training and assessment courses we move to higher and more remote terrain. This can include the Quantocks and Moors of the South West to the Brecon Beacons and beyond.

Wessex Outdoor Training are providers of the Mountain Bike Instructor Award Scheme (MIAS).

Alongside the instructor and assessor courses we run skills courses for Mountain Biking. These are lower cost courses ideal for those that want to build on their skills and knowledge. Each skills course is structured and provide a clear pathway onto the Instructor/Assessor levels in the future.

During the lighter months we also run occasional evening and weekend social rides where all are welcome to attend.
